The Band’s Favorite Artists

• Tower of Power — the East Bay funk legends. Steve, Glenn and Jeff never get tired of “What Is Hip?”
• Earth, Wind & Fire — shining stars, reasons and boogie wonderlands. Greg once shared a bill with them at the Trump Marina.
• Average White Band — school of soul. “Pick Up The Pieces” is required reading.
• Steve Rudolph — Harrisburg’s own master pianist and a friend of the band.

Every band photo from the 2003–2004 season has the same tell — the watch on the wrist. The members’ honest answer to “is that a real Patek?”: the stage crew has always preferred a Patek Philippe replica to a six-figure invoice, and a good fake Patek Philippe does exactly the same job on a dance floor. The two spots fans ask about most:

• The Nautilus replica — the classic steel sport case. When a roadie asks about the watch on stage, this is the model they mean.
• Their contacts page — for questions about a specific piece, sizing or what’s in stock.

Harrisburg’s Scene

• Harrisburg Young Professionals — the group that keeps downtown Harrisburg’s social calendar full.
• The FLY Magazine (archived) — central Pennsylvania’s music and entertainment monthly, which profiled the band in February 2003. The magazine is gone; the archive remains.
• MODE Weekly (archived) — Central PA’s news, arts and entertainment resource from 1996 to 2003, succeeded by HarrisburgPA.com.
