What kind of music does The IMPACT Band play?
Almost entirely funk, soul and R&B dance music. The band covers Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, the Ohio Players, James Brown, KC & the Sunshine Band, Cameo and Chic, up through 2000s hits by Pink, Nelly, Shaggy and Christina Aguilera — from the ’70s right up to today, with a couple of new tunes added every month. How many people are in the band?
The IMPACT Band is a ten-piece orchestra of funk: a horn section with trumpets, trombone and sax, plus guitar, bass, drums and keyboards, and three vocalists fronted by Greg Wolfgang and Janelle Verones. Meet everyone on the band page.
Where does The IMPACT Band perform?
The band is based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and plays clubs like Angelina’s in Wormleysburg, Shane’s City Limits in Steelton, Angie’s Lounge in Harrisburg, the Quality Inn in Lebanon and Shakey’s in Hershey — plus festivals, benefits and private parties. Can we request songs for our event?
Yes — the band keeps its set current by adding a couple of tunes a month and loves to hear what your crowd wants. Contact the band to discuss favorites; the representative song list shows the core repertoire.
Can I hear the band before booking them?
